One Year!!

This weekend we celebrated our 1st anniversary. It's been so much fun! We took Friday through Monday off, so that way we could have as much time together as possible. And I'm so glad we did! So, here's what we did...


Friday we slept in, of course. And we just got ready for the day, but we were pretty lazy about it. :) We had to go down to Provo (yuck!!) so that Bryan could pick up his check. And then we went to University Mall, because that's where we bought Bryan's wedding ring, and we needed to get it fixed a little. But when we got there, we found out that they had moved to a different location! So we didn't get that done.. But then we just shopped around the mall for presents (I know, we're slackers), that is one thing I think I'd change.. I hate shopping at malls.


That night we went out for sushi at this place in downtown Salt Lake City. It's called Rice, and oh my goodness, it's delicious!! And I LOVE sushi! :)

So after Rice we went to The Grand America, and spent a night.. Oh my gosh! I loved it!! It was pricey, but we saved up for it. And since we didn't really get a honeymoon last year, we thought it would be nice if we did something fancy. :) But oh man! I LOVED it! The room was huge, and great. We've decided it we don't have anything else going on, we're going to do it again. I can't wait!! :)

We woke up semi-early on Saturday, got checked out, and then headed home. On the way we stopped for breakfast. That's another thing we would change.We decided that we would probably get room service, so that we wouldn't have to leave so early. :)

Later on Saturday, we had to return the gift I got for Bryan, and exchange it for a different one. (I got him an xbox game). Apparently I got one he already had.. Oops! :) After we got that done, I got my hair cut! I haven't really cut it since before the wedding, and decided I needed a change.. So I cut 5 inches off. Yup, 5 inches!! But I think it looks pretty good. :)

Yesterday was Stake Conference, and yes, we should've gone, but because of daylight savings time we got up late.. Woops.. So we stayed home, and then we went to The Spaghetti Factory with my mom's side of the family. That was pretty fun. :) After that we just hung out with my brother and my mom.

Today we're planning on going to Leatherby's for some DELICIOUS ice cream! :) And then it's back to the real world tomorrow..

Overall, this has been a pretty good weekend, and I am so glad that we decided to get married! It's been the best year of my life, and I'm sure it's just going to get better from here. :)
