I'm a slacker... But it's 5QF!!!

Ok, I know, I've been slacking on my 5 Question Friday's blog.. But with my schedule, you would too. (Just trust me on this, ok)? Anywho.. It's here now. I know how much you've missed it.. Well, ok, maybe YOU haven't, but I have! :)

 

 

 

 

1. If you could have any talent and turn it into an occupation, what would it be?

2. Would you rather have a house at the beach or a cabin in the woods?

3. Is there any meaning or reasoning for the names you chose for your child/children?

4. What is your guilty pleasure? (I know we've done this one before, but I'm guessing people's "guilty pleasures" change frequently. At least, mine do!)

5. Do you live in a house that is deep cleaned or straightened?

1. If you could have any talent and turn it into an occupation, what would it be?

So, I know that the generic answer to this question would be singing or acting.. But not me.. Nope, no way!

 

If I could turn a talent that I have into an occupation it would be one of two things..

 

1) I would be a pianist.. I LOVE playing the piano, and I miss it terribly! I wish I could just harvest that talent and have that be my job.. That would be so cool! And if I could make lots'a moulah off of it, who could complain? Definitely not me.. So that's the first one..

 

2) Please don't laugh at this one.. And say that there is no way that will be turned into an occupation... Ok, my second choice would be a book reader.. I don't care if it's reading to people, or just reading for the love of it.. But I LOVE reading books!! And if I could turn that into making serious moulah, oh man, I would be in heaven! (Ok, you can laugh now).. :)

 

2. Would you rather have a house at the beach or a cabin in the woods?

Uhm... How about both? Because I would choose a house at the beach of a lake, in the middle of the woods.. Does that sound ok? I think it does. :) I LOVE trees and wooded places, but I also LOVE lakes, and beaches.. So, I would choose both. :) You know, a kwinky-dink.. I used to live in the woods on a lake.. In Missouri.. There were so many trees there, it really was like living in the middle of a forest.. And I lived on a lake.. Man, I miss it there..
 

3. Is there any meaning or reasoning for the names you chose for your child/children?

Well.. I don't have children.. But I do know the name of the first one I'm going to have.. If it's a boy his name is going to be Scott Lynn. (Two names). And if it's a girl it's going to be Anna Lynn. (Again, two names). Bryan and I decided that the middle name of our first child is going to be Lynn.. And he wants the first boy to be a Scott.. So the name for the boy was easy, the girl, not so much.. :) So I really can't wait to have kids.. But they're not coming for a couple of years. (Sorry mom).. :)

Ok.. Please don't laugh.. Ok, you really won't be able to promise that you won't, because my guilty pleasure is way too insane not to laugh at..

 

I love watching Arthur.. And the Magic School Bus.. Yes, I know they're for little kids, but seriously, I LOVE those shows!! I remember being a kid and watching them. They were the coolest shows EVER! And I'm happy to know that they still are.. Ok, maybe not the coolest shows EVER, but they're still really awesome.. :)

5. Do you live in a house that is deep cleaned or straightened?

Uhm.. Ok.. Let me explain something to you.. I'm currently living with my future sister in law, Melanie.. Love her to death! But, she has this thing.. And really, it's not so bad. I kinda chuckle at it.. But because of it, the house is almost always deep cleaned..

 

My friends, Melanie has OCD.. It's funny to come home at midnight, and find that she's gone on a cleaning spree.. Which usually happens once a week, if not more.. She will vacuum everything.. Even under the couches, and the couches themselves.. She will sweep and mop, and scour and scrub.. (Ok, those last two, I don't know if she really does)..

 

It just makes my life more interesting.. And I really don't mind it.. Actually I'm going to miss it after I'm married and moved out.. Because then it'll mean I'm going to have to do all of that stuff. And I'm really not a fan of cleaning.. It's not my favorite thing to do in the whole world.. I would much rather sit down and read a good book..

So, while I may laugh and chuckle at it now, I'm going to be crying about it come March.. When she's no longer there to do it..
