Wedding Day!

So, the time I had awaited had finally come.. It was my wedding day!!

The night before, we had our rehearsal dinner at the Joy Luck restaurant in Bountiful. It was so beautiful, and yummy! Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of that.. But back to the wedding day..

The night before we had set up the tables and chairs the way we wanted them, so we wouldn't have to do it that day.. Well, it got all switched around, so when we got to the church building, we had to do that all over again. Which was ok, but we just had that much more to do. Anyway, so we set up the tables for the reception, and decorated them. We also set up the chairs for the ceremony, and the arch, and decorated them as well.

I want to thank all that helped us set up, decorate, take down and clean up! We really appreciated it..

Well, I was so wrapped up in making sure that everything was decorated and all that, that I forgot that I actually had to get ready! Haha.. So I was taken into the "brides room" (aka.. The Relief Society's room). And my aunt started doing my hair (thanks so much aunt LaVonne!!!) and I put on the dress (thanks to those who helped with that),

and my aunt then did my makeup.

And then I was ready. (A little late, but the wedding can't start without me, hehe). I couldn't believe that I was just about to walk down the aisle and then be married to my best friend!

It all went by so fast! I am now Mrs. Bryan Scott Preece!! I can't believe how good it is to be able to say that, and how it feels to be married. It's the best feeling anyone could feel! And I am the luckiest and happiest girl in the world! Again, thanks to all of those who helped us in any way during the wedding and reception. To name a few: My aunt, grandma, Shelbi, Kayla, Pam, and Cindy. Of course, thank you to my mom and dad, who helped so much, and I know it wouldn't have been as beautiful and as wonderful as a wedding with out them! Again, thanks to everyone else that helped! (Sorry, I can't name all of you). I deeply appreciate it!

Here are a few more pics of the wedding and reception.

So... Time for catching up...

So the last post I wrote was about a week before the wedding... That was a little over 3 months ago.. So I'll catch you up with what I last posted about.. And in case you don't remember, I had tripped over a shoe and injured my ankle..

So I went and did my bridals with my ankle wrapped. I had them taken at the Joseph Smith Memorial building, and a bit on Temple Square. So that was A LOT of walking around, with a bad ankle and a heavy dress on. By that night it was really screaming. So Bryan made me go to the doctor. The first prognosis was that I had fractured my ankle bone, and they gave me a number for an orthopedic surgeon. In the meantime I had to wear this big ugly boot.

I went and saw the surgeon the day before the wedding, and was told that I didn't fracture my ankle.. I had actually torn my ligaments. And there were 2 options for fixing it. 1) I could have surgery to have the ligaments anchored down. Or 2) I could wear a brace for the rest of my life to make sure that my ankle stayed in place.. Uh, ya.. I picked surgery. Ya, sure, it was going to be painful, and the recovery was going to last almost a year.. But what's a year compared to the rest of my life? So I had surgery, exactly 2 months after the wedding.. But first I'll post a blog about the wedding.. (Here's some pics to tie you over before I post it).

Yup! That's right, I wore purple converse! :)
